My work is rooted in an exploration of the intricate relationships between time, place and memory, and particularly how they intertwine with the natural world.

I am inspired by the way in which our environments, both physical and emotional, leave lasting imprints on our minds, shaping how we perceive our surroundings and our stories.

Drawing inspiration from the cycles of nature – seasons, growth, decay and renewal – I reflect on how moments and place are shaped by the passage of time.

Love and Loss

My new work uses the language of botanical imagery, by way of eco-printing, to tell a story of love and loss.

Within the whisper faint outline of a dried leaf and the fragile pressed flower, suspended in time, we capture these fleeting moments in a tangible way.

Textures from the leaf veins that have been pressed into the surface of the paper, engage both a physical and visual connection to the artwork and it is my hope that these books invite the viewer to contemplate their own memories, their connections to the land and the fleeting yet profound moments that form the rich tapestry of our lives.

This current body of work can be found at Gallery 57, a contemporary art gallery in Arundel, West Sussex.
